ICAN and Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs Host Briefing on Israel-Hamas Conflict for Beverly Hills Leaders

October 28, 2023

In a collaborative effort to address issues surrounding the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the Israeli-American Civic Action Network (ICAN) and the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs recently hosted a briefing for key leaders from the City of Beverly Hills and surrounding areas.

The briefing covered three critical areas. First, it provided an in-depth analysis of the complexities and challenges of the war against Hamas. Second, it critically examined how media outlets can perpetuate inaccuracies and contribute to the spread of misinformation. Lastly, it emphasized the importance of reliable data for Western audiences to understand the conflict accurately.

The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, a leading Israeli think tank, is currently working on a new guide titled “Hamas on Campus,” aimed at educating the public about the group’s activities in academic settings.

ICAN announced plans for a series of ongoing informational sessions for key leaders. These sessions will cover topics like international law, and the law of armed conflict and provide insights into the actual crimes against humanity perpetrated by Hamas on October 7.

The Israeli-American Civic Action Network is a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for the Israeli-American community and fostering strong U.S.-Israel relations. For more information about ICAN’s initiatives, visit our website at ICAN’s website.
