Dear Mr. Ambassador:

As a resident and citizen of the United States of America, I am writing to demand that the European Union take concrete and meaningful action to ensure member countries immediately cease all campaigns and efforts to erase Holocaust history and rehabilitate the reputations of Holocaust criminals.

At a time when my fellow Americans, and my country's leaders, are prioritizing the preservation of Holocaust history and the strengthening of Holocaust education, European Union member countries are seriously compromising our efforts. In fact, European Union member countries, especially Poland, Lithuania, and Hungary, are engaged in a well-organized and systematic campaign to rewrite the history of their Holocaust criminals and are seriously jeopardizing the international community's efforts to preserve the truth of this dark period in history and thereby undermines efforts to prevent future genocide around the world.

The European Union is demonstrating to the world that if the history of the Holocaust can be rewritten, then any genocide can be perpetrated upon a people, and its history eventually rewritten and erased. And, the European Union is sending a message to mass murderers around the world that their actions hold no consequences. This is unacceptable, dangerous, and threatens international peace and security.

It is also important for you to know that a large coalition of Americans who share these views are educating our members of the United States Congress and demanding that they take appropriate action to encourage European Union member countries to cease all attempts to rewrite Holocaust history and to publicly acknowledge the true history of their Holocaust criminals.

For the future stability and prosperity of the European Union, and the rest of the world, I ask that you consider this letter and my requests carefully and seriously.
