We’ve provided some talking points below that explain why this bill is so important:
- BDS is a movement that aims to harm Israel economically, and by extension, harm the Israeli people. By preventing state funds from being invested in companies that participate in BDS, we can help protect Israel’s economy and its people.
- BDS is not just an attack on Israel – it’s an attack on the values of freedom, democracy, and equality that Israel represents. By refusing to invest in companies that participate in BDS, we’re sending a clear message that we stand with Israel and with these important values.
- Supporting this bill is not just about protecting Israel – it’s also about protecting New Hampshire’s economy. BDS harms businesses, and by extension, the communities that rely on those businesses for jobs and economic growth. By preventing state funds from being invested in companies that participate in BDS, we’re helping to ensure that New Hampshire’s economy remains strong and vibrant.
